At Mosobam, we believe everyday essentials should combine comfort, quality, and more thoughtful material choices. Our towels are crafted from Aegean Turkish Combed Cotton and Viscose Made From Bamboo, a blend chosen for softness, absorbency, durability, and a refined everyday feel.
We use Aegean Turkish Combed Cotton and Viscose Made From Bamboo because this combination brings together the plush, familiar comfort of premium cotton with the smooth hand feel and moisture-friendly performance commonly associated with bamboo viscose; which is very smooth, absorbent, strong, and breathable.

Our towels are made from Aegean Turkish Combed Cotton and Viscose Made From Bamboo. The Aegean Turkish Combed Cotton helps create the soft, plush, premium texture that makes a towel feel comforting and substantial. The Viscose Made From Bamboo contributes a smooth, breathable, absorbent quality that complements the cotton and supports a soft, moisture-wicking terry experience.

We value Viscose Made From Bamboo because it helps create towels that feel soft against the skin, absorb well, and remain comfortable for repeated daily use. Bamboo-based viscose is also often associated with breathable, moisture-managing performance, which is one reason bamboo-derived viscose is popular in towels, bedding, and other comfort-focused textiles.
From a sustainability perspective, bamboo is widely valued as a fast-regenerating, renewable plant. We also pay close attention to the environmental impact heavily dependent on sourcing and processing the fibers. This is why we hold ourselves to very high sourcing standards and adhere to principals and requirements of FSC® and OEKO-TEX® MADE IN GREEN.

Our towels are certified MADE IN GREEN by OEKO-TEX® – Label ID: M1SM576W3 HOHENSTEIN
This label verifies that the product has been tested for harmful substances, produced in socially responsible workplaces, and is traceable through the supply chain. MADE IN GREEN products are also produced more sustainably in certified and audited facilities. This provides added confidence that Mosobam towels are made with attention not only to comfort and quality, but also to product safety, transparency, and responsible manufacturing standards.

Our towels are also made with materials from sources certified to Forest Stewardship Council® standards – FSC Certificate: FSC C041262
Chain of custody ensures that materials are traced through every stage of the supply chain, from sourcing to distribution. FSC certification supports traceability and verifies that qualifying forest-based materials are handled in accordance with strict requirements. Responsible sourcing is a key part of sustainable textile production.
Our Approach:
Our brand name Mosobam is derived from Moso (Phyllostachys edulis) which is one of the largest and most economically significant bamboo species in the world. Moso bamboo is often called the "king of fibers" as it offers a unique combination of industrial strength and environmental benefits. Famous for its rapid growth (up to 1 meter/day), it quickly reaches 80–100 feet tall, providing major sources for timber, flooring, textiles, and edible shoots.
Moso bamboo also has numerous environmental & ecological benefits. It can sequester up to five times more carbon dioxide and release 35% more oxygen than an equivalent stand of trees. While a typical hardwood tree takes 40–60 years to mature, Moso reaches its full height in a single season and achieves timber hardness in just 5 years. Because it is a grass, the extensive rhizome (root) system stays in the ground after harvest. This prevents soil erosion and allows the plant to regenerate without replanting.
